1		Open site on the edge of a big meadow. Can be sunny and hot during summer days. Great views of the stars at night. Great for wildlife viewing. Near amphitheater (used occasionally for programs). Back-in or head-in parking for trailer. Level area for tents.
2		Site located in the shade of large redwoods. End of loop with lots of privacy. Small creek runs behind site year-round. Large level area for tents. Back-in or head-in parking. Near amphitheater (used occasionally for programs).
3		Site located in the shade of large redwoods. Has lots of privacy. Small creek runs behind site year-round. Large level area for tents. Back-in or head-in parking.
4		Large site at the edge of the trees, with an open grassy area beyond it. Shaded back-in or head-in parking for motorhome. Close to restroom/shower. Can be paired with site 8 or 35 for groups camping together.
5		Small tent site with vegetation on one side to provide screening. Easy walk to restroom/shower. Partially shaded. Can be paired with site 6 for groups camping together.
6		Site backs up to a steep hillside covered with trees. Partially shaded. Short walk to restroom/shower. Can be paired with site 7 for groups camping together.
7		Site backs up to a steep hillside covered with trees. Open toward camp road, so some lack of privacy. Shady. Can be paired with site 6 for groups camping together.
8		Shaded site under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 4 for groups camping together.
9		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Fairly private. Very shady under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 10 for groups camping together.
10		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Fairly private. Very shady under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 9 for groups camping together.
12		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Dry creek ravine (fenced) located behind site. Very shady under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 13 for groups camping together. Back-in or head-in trailer parking. Can get some headlight glare when cars drive through campground at night.
13		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Very shady under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 12 for groups camping together. Back-in or head-in trailer parking. Open toward camp road, so lacks privacy. Can get some headlight glare when cars drive through campground at night.
14		Corner site located under redwood trees. Some vegetation provides screening for privacy. Close to restroom/shower. Can be paired with site 13 for groups camping together.
15		Small uphill climb to site from parking area. Site located on outer part of loop with forest behind. Privacy. Close to restrooms.
16		Small uphill climb to site from parking area. Site located on outer part of loop with forest behind. Privacy. Close to restrooms.
17		Site located on inner part of loop. Has some privacy because other sites are spaced further away. Located next to restroom building for easy access. Short moderate downhill slope into site from parking. Can be paired with site 21 or 27 for groups camping together.
18		Back-in parking for small trailer. Site located on outer part of loop, near restrooms. Can be paired with site 16 for groups camping together.
19		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Has privacy and is only a short walk to restrooms. Short uphill climb to site from parking area.
20		Site located on outer part of loop with forested hillside behind. Has privacy. Short uphill climb to site from parking area. Site is open on one side with views of the meadow and historic apple orchard. Good wildlife viewing area.
21		Site located on inner part of loop, with fairly good privacy. Site is slightly below road level, under small trees. Partially shaded.
22		Site has a large area for motorhome. Open toward meadow and apple orchard on one side, for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Partially shaded. Parking area is in sun part of day.
23		Site is screened from road by vegetation and has relatively good privacy. Partial shade provided by short trees. Easy walk to restrooms. Can be paired with site 24 for groups camping together.
24		Site is open and sunny. Located in grassy opening, with few trees. Can be hot in late summer due to lack of shade. Great views of the stars at night. Can be paired with site 27 for groups camping together.
25		Located on outer part of loop, on the edge of large meadow. Excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. Some shade from one short tree, otherwise can be hot during late summer afternoons.
26		Located on outer part of loop, on the edge of a meadow. Excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. One side is fenced. Vegetation provides screening from road and privacy. Site is graveled for wheelchairs Gravel walkway to restroom/shower building. PLEASE NOTE: Before reserving this site, read the requirements.

29		Site located under redwoods, on hillside above restroom building. Short walk to restroom/shower. Back-in parking for motorhome. Can be paired with site 30 for groups camping together.
30		Small pull-through parking area. (Suitable for cars rather than trailers.) Site located under redwood trees. Can be paired with site 30 for groups camping together.
31		Site located on inner part of loop under redwood trees. Site is relatively open and lacks privacy. Small, dry creek bed behind site (unfenced). Can be paired with sites 35 or 8 for groups camping together. Small dry creek bed between sites 31 and 35.
32		Site located under redwoods with back-in parking for trailer. Lots of trees for privacy. Can be paired with sites 29 and/or 30 for groups camping together.
33		Site located under redwoods with back-in parking for trailer. Lots of trees for privacy. Can be paired with sites 32 and/or 34 for groups camping together. Has a view of meadow and orchard from the back of site. Excellent for wildlife viewing.
34		Site located under redwoods at edge of meadow. Excellent wildlife viewing. Shady. Can be paired with site 33 for groups camping together.
35		Large back-in or head-in parking area for motorhome. Site is under trees on edge of large grassy area. Great for families with kids who want to run around on the grass. Can be paired with sites 31 and/or 4 for groups camping together. Small dry creek bed between sites 31 and 35.
36		Site located adjacent to campground entrance. Can get some noise and traffic from arriving campers. Lights from campground entrance station can be seen from this site at night. Several small trees provide a little shade, otherwise a very open site. Can be hot during late summer afternoons. Back-in or head-in parking for motorhome. Situated on the edge of the meadow and orchard for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
39		Site located at base of hillside with forest cover. Very shady. Short walk to restroom/shower. Can be paired with site 40 for groups camping together. Small year-round creek located across road.
40		End-of-the-road privacy. Site located at base of hillside with forest cover. Very shady. Access to Thornton Trail begins adjacent to site. Small year-round creek located across road.

	Tent campsite: These campsites have a level area for pitching tents. Size of campsite and tent area varies.
	Trailer/Motorhome campsite: These sites hold trailers up to 24 feet in length or motorhomes up to 33 feet in length.
	Wheelchair accessible campsite. These sites are paved and are near the restrooms/showers, which are also accessible.
All campsites contain a picnic table, food locker, fire ring, and areas for pitching tents. Restrooms have showers (coin operated showers) and flush toilets. Water is available near the campsites and is potable. There are no water, sewer, or electric hookups for RVs.
