Humboldt Redwoods State Park relies on a dedicated staff of volunteers for Camp Host and Visitor Center Host duties.

The minimum commitment for camphost volunteers is 30 days and 20 hours per week, in exchange volunteers are provided with full hook-ups for their self-contained camping vehicles.

Our volunteers provide customer service, register campers, and assist with projects in the park.

The minimum commitment for Visitor Center volunteers is 60 days and 20 hours per week, in exchange volunteers are provided with full hook-ups for their self-contained camping vehicles.

Volunteer opportunities are available year round. We are always looking for outstanding local volunteers to work in our visitor center.
